Disaster Declaration for the State of New Mexico

On June 20, 2024, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in New Mexico to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by the South Fork Fire and Salt Fire on June 17, 2024, and continuing. On June 23, 2024, an additional county was granted individual assistance and “flooding” was added to the disaster type.
