Disaster Declaration for the State of Iowa
On May 24, 2024, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in Iowa to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by severe storms on May 20, 2024-May 21,2024. On June 14th, FEMA changed the incident period end date from 5/21/2024 to 5/31/2024.
