Disaster Declaration for the State of Florida

FEMA Notice Date: September 28th, 2024

 On September 28, 2024, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) declared that federal disaster aid with individual assistance has been made available to counties in Florida to supplement recovery efforts in the areas affected by Hurricane Helene on September 23, 2024, and continuing. On October 1, 2024, 5 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On October 3, 2024, 1 additional county was granted individual assistance. On October 7, 2024, 7 additional counties were granted individual assistance. On October 23, 2024, 1 additional county was granted individual assistance. On November 1, 2024, FEMA announced the incident end date: October 7, 2024.
